STEP ONE: REVIEW EVENT DEFINITIONS

*MOST event traditionally include divisions in the following order; Open Weight, Lightweight, Master 30+, Senior Master 40+, Grand Master 50+, Veteran 60+, Juniors, Novice, Recreational).

Collegiate Level No restrictions.
Club Level

Any Crew may participate in this event. The only exception to this are college crews. Any college crew wishing to participate in this event must first participate in the collegiate events held on Saturday.

Recreational Level Persons that, in any sculling or sweep-oared competition that have not placed at ANY regatta in the past three years. Scullers or Rowers who finish in the top three places at the HOTO are ineligible to row in this event for the next two years.
Lightweight Must be at or below 165 pounds for men, 135 pounds for women. No averaging.
Junior Must be less than 19 years of age the day of the regatta. No College Students may participate.
Novice All competitors must be in their first year of rowing and cannot have participated in a race during the previous Spring season.
Master

All competitors must be at least 22 years of age(This does NOT include the coxswain) but the average of the boat MUST be 30 years(for masters) or 40 for Senior Master.

Note: We will add additional age categories IF more than 5 entries are received within an age group(For example, 5 entries for 50-59, 60-69,etc), we will add a separate medal division.

We DO NOT Handicap Times for MASTER EVENTS
