Welcome to the Head of the Occoquan!

The Occoquan Boat Club sponsors one of the largest end of season regattas in the United States. The annual Head of the Occoquan is held at Sandy Run Regional Park. The Head of the Occoquan has implemented several new changes to the event that we believe will significantly improve the overall operations of the event. These changes include:

• A schedule which will allows schools to row more than once at the HOTO.
• A race course and docking process that will speed up crews exiting and entering the river.
• Registrations and current entries to be provided online. You will have clear idea of who will be in your event well before showing up at the event.
• We now have a completely new results system in place. You can now have your results sent directly to you DURING the event via your phone, PDA or email address.
• New events and rules for each event to allow for better competition. Look at our event list here!

Please review all the information in regards to registration dates and the new entry rules. This event does not provide refunds past the cancellation date. Please register boats well in advance of the deadline date. Please note, due to the number of crews interested in attending this event, late or incomplete registrations will not be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS
